I met my wife here, two of our children were born here, and all three went to Stoneybrook and Lucas. While pursuing my business and consulting interests, I committed eighteen years to a local agency board and eleven to a local investment fund. I was not born with London blood in my veins — but I've been infused with it.
Recent history has not been kind to London. Expectations of safety, affordability and overall livability have been hard to fulfill by councils whose roles have increased in complexity. My experience gained in complex operating environments can help.
Many of my fellow Ward 5 residents share my desire for better. Our infrastructure cost/revenue mismatch of $250 million has been years in the making — and the three-year 20% tax increase is pushing some seniors out of their homes.
